But why not bring us in to the comparison then if we are the best ever?If that was Talkshite mate, I think Darren Bent said we were the best team in Premier League history.

By winning a PL title, they have manifestly overachieved. On the radio earlier, they were discussing if this was Liverpool's greatest ever team and if so they have underachieved with only 1 PL & 1 CL to show for all this greatness. They then went on to say "if you compare them to the great United team of 90/00s and the great Liverpool team of the 70/80's, they have underachieved". Totally ignoring the team that have dominated for 10 yrs who have ensured that Liverpool's "greatest ever team" are playing for second place
You tell me.But why not bring us in to the comparison then if we are the best ever?
I really hope it is their best ever team. You tell me.
I was just pointing out that when I heard Talkshite discussing whether this was Liverpool’s best ever team, they praised City as the better Premier League team of the era.
At least the Carabao Cup is a major tournament again and their media sycophants have, indirectly, upgraded our achievements.I really hope it is their best ever team.
“This means slightly less”
The Carabao Cup now means more!At least the Carabao Cup is a major tournament again and their media sycophants have, indirectly, upgraded our achievements.
Assists and penalties missed have been part of match stats on bbc, since start of at least this seasonCovering Algeria's defeat BBC Breakfast showed one goal giving just the scorer's name before adding that 'Manchester City's' Mahrez missed a penalty. His miss getting just less mention than the whole match.
Their website shows all four scorers and the times of the goals plus something l have never seen before, a list of of the assists and their timings.
Then after these a detail on the scoreboard that could only happen with a City player:
Penalties Missed : Mahrez
Only small things but the Chinese Water Torture consists of small relentless drips.

Thanks didn't know that.Perhaps it's as well for us that they don't list Easy Chances Missed.Assists and penalties missed have been part of match stats on bbc, since start of at least this season
Don't worry yourself. The BBC have gone all in with afcon as they don't want to be seen as racist. It's a tinpot tournament with little or no quality but they have to be seen to be treating it seriously incase someone accuses them of you know what.Covering Algeria's defeat BBC Breakfast showed one goal giving just the scorer's name before adding that 'Manchester City's' Mahrez missed a penalty. Similar thing with women's football, absolutely shite but we've all got to pretend it's a serious creditable watchable thing.......when in fact it's rubbish.
What is racest?Sexist, racest, footballist. :-)
Whoosh!What is racest?
We'll never be considered "great" until we win that fucking cup competition and even if we do we will then not be considered "great" until we repeat in Europe and even then.....you get the idea.On the radio earlier, they were discussing if this was Liverpool's greatest ever team and if so they have underachieved with only 1 PL & 1 CL to show for all this greatness. Nice try. Spell check before posting.Whoosh!
Hopefully so.I've watched some very entertaining matches. And it will only get better...
I heard that too, I think the commentators mask of impartiality slipped for a minute as he jizzed his load.Turned over for the last ten minutes of the Liverpool/Arsenal game last night only to hear such commentary gems as “Liverpool - the club for whom winning trophies is an obsession” and
“Liverpool will now head to Wembley to reclaim Anfield south” !!! Were Liverpool TV the host broadcaster last night ??? Jesus wept
