Pep and the media need to get it into there heads that the majority of fans want city to win things over them scouse rats but sadly they don’t :( they pander to a bunch of glory hunting pricks from towns all over the county but they sadly can’t see it ....... I bet if they put a poll out all over the county on who they want to win the CL league it would be 75% in Madrid’s favour .........these bastards along with Sky and BT need to realise that the Uk on a whole hate the scouse twats and the laughable rags
Whilst that’s true for the vast majority of actual football fans the sky bt market of such east Lancs reds pandering, is aimed towards the those who don’t really follow football. Those with no allegiance who toss a coin to pick which cheek of the same arse to pretend to follow.

Much obliged...........

James Pearce in The Athletic this morning.
Maybe he could do an article on Liverpool failing FFP in 2013 and getting away with it only because they failed to qualify for Europe therefore falling out of UEFA's punishment remit. Or in 2015 when they were on the verge of failing FFP again until they magicked out of the air £35 million of years old bogus 'stadium development expenses' for the non-existent Stanley Park Project. All passed as kosher and promptly brushed under the carpet by Rick Parry, who was on UEFA's FFP investigatory panel, and his pals.

Quote from the comments:

‘Freedom of speech is of course crucial and I’d agree he shouldn’t have been suspended . Perhaps his own prejudices and dislike or perhaps jealousy of Liverpool’s current success somewhat skewed his judgement and personal bile crept into this journalistic. “ opinion piece”. Bringing up terrible events of 30 years ago probably was offensive much more’

they can’t stop talking about it themselves… maybe it’s only offensive when someone else brings it up..? Hmmm
Their responses made me laugh:
"“We stand by our previous response that freedom of expression for journalists ‘is not a free pass to publish ill-informed, inaccurate, and misjudged comments’.”

and

"In its response to the case last year, Reach had said: “When journalists are given a platform for their opinions, it comes with the quid pro quo that what they write is to be founded on fact and reasoned argument".

So what part of his article was ill-informed and inaccurate and wasn't founded on fact and reasoned argument then? Or did Hillsborough and Heysel (and the rest) never happen? And as he said, they were the ones who went ahead and published it!

and this:

" Bringing up terrible events of 30 years ago probably was offensive much more"

Yet they choose to "remember" it every year.

You couldn't make it up.

yep, constant lies and misinformation
I think the actual term is "As long as the lie is repeated often enough, most people will believe it". But it will always be the same, whatever we win they will keep pointing towards the money, FFP or whatever while completely ignoring the fact that the likes of Liverpool have managed to earn and spend as much. Nobody ever mentions Chelsea either, who under Abramovich seemed to have a bottomless money pit.
