I always mean to get the TV pundits' and writers' predictions of who will win trophies in the coming season, but I always forget.

Has anyone by any chance got any early-season predictions for the PL season just ended?

I expect Alyson Rudd said Liverpool would win it. Someone probably said United would be right up there.

It would be interesting if anyone has saved these forecasts. I shall definitely do it for the next season.

(Please not my use of the hyphen, which sadly seems too often ignored in these pages|)
If you google it you should find it SKY released it a about a week ago, i do not know who was who but the majority were City for the league, followed by Chelsea, a couple for utd, did not see any for liverpool or the cups.

Just to put things in to perspective. After all the shit we read and have to put up with at the end of day it’s just a game of football and a lot of us get great pleasure watching the game and trying to work out how things work out. So I need to tell you all I love my football and most especially Manchester City and Tony Book who lived close to me. But most of all I would like to say good bye to my younger brother who died this morning at the age of 59yrs with his family beside him. He was a blue.
Sorry to hear this blue, Tony Book lived on Queens Rd when I was a kid, I must have lived near you, (Barkers Lane), I may even have known you or your brother (I'm 62).
My sincere condolences, RIP.

Swifty lad the BBC online sports page did show the pundits predictions and how so many experts go with their hearts, bless 'em ;-)

Oh how did that work out on both counts Miguel you deluded bitter little tool

Miguel Delaney (chief football writer): Chelsea. The Champions League will take them up a level, and the signing of Romelu Lukaku will complete the team.

Player of the season?

MD: Romelu Lukaku. I think, like Antonio Conte at Inter Milan, Thomas Tuchel’s coaching could ensure we see the Lukaku England never had.

Chief football writer lol

Deluded Delaney.

Pay no attention to journalists like this fella.

He should be looking for a new profession.

Some of the independent’s biggest journalists are Delaney, Reddy and Evans… it’s worse than Carragher and Neville on City games.
No idea what their circulation is, but even in the dwindling world of newspapers and their websites, they are surely small fry the Independent aren’t they?

Not one of the biggest players but still fairly big.

Haha, ok, well not in my mind they aren’t, but just looking they ranked 7th last year for daily online views at 1.4million approx
(Mail top at 4.1 for context) and the Standard bottom in 13th at 0.5.

Never worth clicking on regardless.
