I think the main difference with Grealish is that most international matches involve totally sub-standard opponents, in some cases virtually non-league teams compared to the PL. I don't think you can truly assess how good a player is from international football which has become no more than a money-making exercise for FIFA, UEFA, and the broadcasters. Apart from the latter stages of the Euros and the World Cup international football is pure Micky Mouse standard.

Micky Mouse would be offended by the comparison :)

Tossers from the BBC are now counting Pride flags, looks like we missed out on that trophy.

I'm all for the pride movement but quite a petty thing to do and the bloke has too much time on his hands. Nothing new for a BBC employee..

Don't give much of a toss about all this posturing in the game these days, but surely he should be celebrating City's recognition of Pride and it's sensitivity to cultural differences rather than taking a cheap shot. Rags and Dippers don't even recognise Pride at all on their Twitter accounts but we are the bad guys? Tosser.

La Liga say they have reported PSG (and us) to UEFA for "continuously" breaching FFP, as well as taking legal action in France, Switzerland and the EU

Would be funny if UEFA grew a pair and did Barca for breaching FFP due to their financial situation out of Tebas and La Liga's reporting of us & PSG. That will never happen though.

It's utterly ridiculous now by Tebas. We've had our hearing with CAS, it's over. Time they tried to fix their league instead of carrying on at the rest of the world.

The actual problem isn't "state" owned clubs, it's the fact there is so much money in the Premier League and not in La Liga. That's what gets him, that's what the Super League is actually about. Getting more funds for his beloved Barca & Real Madrid. He just uses our name and PSG's to hide his actual agenda.

He's a piece of shit

I thought they did a reasonable job of enforcing their rules on Barcelona last season even though it essentially forced Messi out of the league.

The complaint against us seems especially vague though with his point being "they must have done something, becuase Haaland asked the clubs for more apart from the €60m that has been paid to Dortmund". Well, yeah. We know.

The Mbappe deal does look a little sus in fairness, but its the same deal offered by Real and he didnt seem to have an issue with that.

Khaldoon name dropped him in his post season interview a few years back, he’s still gobbing off now. Jelly and ice cream when he..

Interested to see how the usual cabal decide to view this La Liga complaint. Are UEFA & associated parties competent again after spending the last few weeks being booted around due to CL final scenes? After all, it was only 2020 when UEFA were geniuses and City widely denounced for having the temerity to stand up for themselves.

La Liga (aka Real Madrid & Barcelona) want UEFA to help them out here whist they look to destroy the CL with the Super League. Barcelona are insolvent and it's become incredibly tedious for them to use various outlets to distract from the truth through constant transfer wibble - perhaps UEFA would be better served looking them, as a club needing various 'creative' means of financing to stay afloat?

Of course he has no issue it Real offered Mbappe the same deal. He doesn't care for football he cares for his pockets.

Tebas can't handle the fact the two biggest jewels so to speak in world football in Haaland & Mbappe won't be playing in La Liga. Those moves were their big play to replace Messi & Ronaldo. What he never bargained on was Mbappe playing Real off against PSG to get the best deal for himself. Fair play to the lad for it. And Haaland wanting to go home. He never saw it coming. Now they've both happened he can't handle it.

If La Liga carry on long enough neither Mbappe or Haaland will ever go there.
