Our PR/Comms strategy for the last 10 years has been the total opposite of what we should have done. We should have ensured that any false narratives were immediately challenged and corrected. That is way all large commercial organisations operate. United and Liverpool are much better at PR than us. Of course they are pushing against an open door with a friendly media but still they are much more proactive than us.
We haven't even properly promoted the fantastic investments Sheikh Mansour has brought to the city of Manchester itself. For example Khaldoon has done very few (if any) major interviews promoting our club yet he is a class act at public speaking.
Bang on the money. Our PR has been and is totally abysmal since the takeover.

Definitely,
a before and after video of the area developed, jobs created.
Release the figures of funds paid to Mcr Council and therefore benefitting local residents and tax payers.
Tourism brought into the City.
The list is fucking endless yet all we hear is oil money and plastics.

All we seem to get is lots of social media activity (which is fine) but no strategic communications at all. I have always suspected there was a structural problem in our management set-up which meant it was very difficult to get things signed off. We are part of a huge organisation which has grown very rapidly and Khaldoon has a very broad remit.
We seem to be slow to react to events. A classic example is how we were wrong-footed by the Super League proposals. We were bounced into it at the last moment and ended up with our joint statement appearing on the MUFC website as part of a Glazers' communication. This was totally amateurish.

Chelsea have been given a free ride , the media forget that they had a sugar daddy before Ra Ra Rasputin turned up , they’ve openly found a loophole this window with giving players 8 year contracts - can you imagine the bed wetting if that was us ? We are closer to home to the evil empire -and that’s a fact.
Power and money makes you forget most things.

“The industry of the midfield that almost drove the Reds to the historic quadruple suddenly looks laborious and one-paced just a few months later while the younger midfielders - Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - have never consistently impressed at Anfield.”

Keita is 28 next week and ‘The Ox’ turns 30 before next season starts.

The Beebs puff piece match report made no mention of the 3 red card lunges, don't want to incurr the wrath of the most socialist holigans ever.

And yet for nothing more than handbags a blades player in the late game was sent off??

These turds or their similarly excreted brethren of the other incontinent arse cheeks do have license to do what they want. They will end some guy's career, with the coached thuggery they dish out with impunity each week.

On the plus side our Clive had a twinkle in his eye as he handed over to the no mark on sports.

I think our meekness in letting these journos make unsubstantiated claims about us has not heped us. Rather take a lot of flack for having a go back. We are like the kid at school who gets bullied but just takes it. Starting to really piss me off. Especially as Newcastle will be praised for their 'deserved" investment!
100% we are and have been far too nice for far too long.

Same on the pitch, when this club and team are fired up and on the war path we are unstoppable.

Just been listening to the dulcet tones of Henry Winter on talk shite and he mentioned something on the lines of "we will have to consider Brighton as a big club".

Sorry, but what is the criteria required to be a "big club" and why is it up to Journos to decide who is a big club and who isn't? Why is there also an obsession with labelling clubs as "big"? For me a team is a team, I apply some form of identity to that team.

Also, why should journos who pay nothing to watch football decide who is a "bigg club". Their opinion is void given they aren't fans, just an inconvenience attached to the sport.
