Nunez and Diaz - got to be?Close but not close enough I'm afraid. Good game this isn't it.

It's so blatant. I've been seeing people trying to peddle that "City players have all been awful at this world cup" all over the youtube comments. Did it start with the twitter crusaders, then the media followed suit or is it the other way around I wonder? I disagree anyway. Kev had a couple of iffy games but there was no saving that Belgium team. Cancelo probably slightly more consistent than he's been at City this season so far if anything. The rest had good world cups and then there is Alvarez too...
It seems the media are right back onto their anti-city agenda already, look at this talksport topic headline from today:
I only needed to watch the first 10 seconds, to confirm they were indeed referring to City as a "state owned club"(again). Ten Hag at least had the sense to realise United have spent more than Pep(and City in over a decade of football) and answered "yes we can compete". No doubt that ticked them off, "No you're supposed to say what Klopp said, did you not get the memo?".
Tony Grant?BBC online have a story that globally, agents fees top £500 million in 2022.
Who wants to play a game of guess which players photo is used ? Twice.

It was in yesterday’s mirror but there’s a thread on the general football forum. Can you post a link to an article please my old China
Guess who’s missing ad a “breakout” star of the World Cup? Funny how young players linked with the Dippers and Rags make the list. The bias from the BBC sports department is staggering, unbelievable how they get away with it.
“Journalist” is a rag who is in Doha, Shamoon (motherfucker) Afez, how come a D list hack has to travel out there to write this shit, he could have produced that piece from Salford.BBC Sport are a disgrace and click driven.
Because they have no checks or balances. The BBC is literally a law to itself. It can do, act and say what it wants without any fear of censure or action. All of the BBC employees from top to bottom know this so act accordingly. When you know for certain you are not going to lose your job regardless of what you do - then why wouldn’t you? The only way to curb the BBC is to remove the licence fee and make it become a subscription based platform. I guarantee you if that happened it wouldn’t last 12 months.Guess who’s missing ad a “breakout” star of the World Cup? Funny how young players linked with the Dippers and Rags make the list. If only Alvarez could knock a couple in!Guess who’s missing ad a “breakout” star of the World Cup? Funny how young players linked with the Dippers and Rags make the list. The bias from the BBC sports department is staggering, unbelievable how they get away with it.

Changed for accuracy.BBC Sport are a disgrace and prick driven.
Because you have a conscience; an idea of right and wrong; a sense of duty to those who pay your wages; a modicum of pride in your work; a desire to become as proficient as you possibly can in your chosen field.Because they have no checks or balances. This is true. I made a formal complaint about some overtly racist content on their website two years ago. They didn't respond within their legal timeframe despite repeated formal emails. The complaint was escalated to Offcom (who regulate the BBC website). After six months I spoke directly to the officer handling my complaint at Ofcom on the phone. She told me that the sheer volume of complaints about BBC content had overwhelmed them. She also told me that, despite repeated requests from them about my complaint, the BBC had not even responded to them. She admitted privately that in reality there was little they could do. I also know from my own sources that the BBC sports online operation has a culture of not taking complaints seriously. There is a big problem in that team and it comes from the top.Because they have no checks or balances. The BBC is literally a law to itself. The sad thing is there are some first class staff in the BBC sports online team who are professional and impartial but there are also too many cut and paste merchants who have not been properly trained and lack integrity. The "banter boy" culture dominates proceedings. For exammple Roan is allowed to do what he wants which is mostly overtly political content which re-inforces his own personal views. BBC sport has totally lost its way.Wouldn't surprise if members of the European Research Group were in charge !
