Single trams from Altrincham bloody idiots.
Reading that last paragraph it's not just the west, it's anyone on any services heading towards Deansgate Castlefield as it mentions no service between there and Piccadilly Station? Can anyone confirm this? It will be mayhem on bus replacement services and at Picc StationLooks like the curve between Mossley Street & Piccadilly Gardens is going to be closed from Monday until at least the end of November.
This means anyone traveling from the west to the stadium will have to change at Market Street.
Will affect travel for the Fulham, Sevilla, Brentford & Chelsea games....
Looks like there's no need to get on a tram replacement bus. If you're traveling from the Alty or Airport lines change at Market Street. From the Didsbury line, change at Victoria. From the Eccles or Trafford Park lines, change at Cornbrook & Market Street.Reading that last paragraph it's not just the west, it's anyone on any services heading towards Deansgate Castlefield as it mentions no service between there and Piccadilly Station? Going to Ashton is fine, it's going towards Picc that's the problem.Never got the metrolink home after a game before, anyone able to give me a rough idea how long it will take to get on a tram towards Ashton after the match? I'm also assuming if you walk to the stop by Asda, you aren't likely to get on, if it even stops there at all?
