Metrolink to / from Etihad

Maybe send the feedback to the club? They are welcoming feedback on how to improve the service. Was it you I was chatting to?
No. I didn't chat with you. I was upstairs and didn't chat with anyone. I'll be catching the bus again when we play Southampton and if we have the same delays, I'll put my feedback to the club. I didn't know they wanted it, so thanks for the heads up on that point.

I used to contact them regularly about the Metrolink and they completely ignored me.

They are nor really bothered about how we get there.

Whilst I would under no circumstances defend Metrolink, for the bus service @matchdaybus from tfgm does monitor the bus thread and respond, and in some cases modify the service in response to feedback

Bee Card.
Has anyone registered their card as there is no name /supporter number on our cards. we have got 3 of them but got them mixed up when one person kept them together. 2 of the cards are adults and 1 is a child’s which was cheaper. Rang Metro link and they basically said the 3 cards didn’t mean anything to them when I gave them the card No’s and they told me to speak to the club.
We’ve been using them but haven’t got a scooby of what happens in the unlikely event of getting caught out by an inspector.

There’s a Police incident on the Etihad/Ashton bound Piccadilly Station Met stop (a girl was in a right state, cartoon style lump on her forehead the size of a tennis ball, blood everywhere, must have faceplanted or something, it was a shocker). I just managed to get on the Met before they closed the platform.

They’ve just closed the platform.

It may well reopen but there will no doubt be delays on the network as a result.

I have the same problem, 2 adult and 2 u18 cards, the other 3 sit in a different stand so I often end up on the tram home on my own with a 50% chance i have a u18 tram ticket.

Whenever I've had mine checked, they just look at the card and don't scan it or anything so you should be ok.

It looked on Wednesday that they were holding Every Street lights on red to keep the Holt Town box clear. Judging by the taxi drivers blowing horns...

Tell you what, the service is getting slower.

Took 45 minutes from Martinscroft to Shudehill this morning. Longest it’s ever taken, it’s painfully slow at numerous points on the line.

I bet the average speed was about 15mph. I could have cycled it quicker but I’m on the piss so why would I cycle?

The lift was out of order today after the game. Presumably before the game as well, but I wouldn’t know that for certain.

Felt sorry for the wheelchair fans and those pushing them. It’s a right old trek all the way down the full length of the Ashton bound platform and then back again.

To be fair, it’s the first time I remember it being broke. Plenty of time until the next home game to get it fixed at least.

I walked back into town and there was an Ashton bound tram stuck in vehicular traffic on Merrill Street approaching Holt Town. Surely the useless fuckers can arrange for that bit of road to be closed for 30 to 40 minutes after the final whistle.

I noticed it wasn’t working before the game. I did wonder how disabled fans were going to get up the stairs. There was a couple of wheelchair users on the tram we were on from town.
