How many people can a tram carry ? What is the expected amount of people usage after the match? Every six minutes? I just hope they've taken delivery of more units!

Is that per carriage as there are usually two carriages together at a time, sometimes four at peak timesImpeccable said:remember arthur mann said:How many people can a tram carry ? A single tram can hold 200

I realise they are not on the same line but I thought you would be able to hop off/hop on like the the London Underground. Is this not the case ?

You will able to plan it from next week. I tried planning Crumpsall to Oldham a couple of days before the Oldham extension opened and, like you, I couldn't get it. But on the day it opened, I did. Can't blame the system. Some mug would only pay up for a journey that doesn't exist yet!

Once in the city centre you could almost certainly 'switch' to the Ashton bound tram that would stop at the Etihad.

Once in the city centre you could almost certainly 'switch' to the Droylsden bound tram (East Manchester line) that would stop at the Etihad .... this line will soon be extended to cover Ashton.
