I will be sad to see Micah go, but purely on a sentimental level. For pure cold hearted business/football reasons it makes sense for him to be sold and replaced by a free transfer of a superior player.....

However much we all want Micah to be the player that he promised to be, the reality is, he isn't and doesn't look like he ever will be. We'll never know whether has been mis-managed by the club and I know that lots of people have different views on his physique which, whilst being bloody impressive, may not be his natural body shape. Most of the professional footballers I've met are lean and wirey rather than man mountains. I definitely think that Micah suffered mentally from all the hype that surrounded his England debut and then to be discarded by Capello seemed to knock his confidence and change his attitude. Maybe the club didn't give him the support he needed at that time, hard to imagine they wouldn't try to protect an asset, but who knows. Against that, he might just be injury prone, at least if he joins a club where he is offered regular game time we'll find out one way or another. Wherever he ends up, I wish him well.

It's been sad Micah having such bad luck with injuries the last couple of years. It certainly hasn't helped him work his way into our squad, but I can't see him eclipsing Zabaleta any time soon, even when fully fit. Just a shame he is one of our English players as we are short of them in our 1st team compared to other teams. Best of luck to him whatever he decides to do, been a loyal servant to our jersey.

I think Micah started going downhill when he started bulking up

He has the physique of a boxer now not a football player

It's not his physique that's the problem. It's his total lack of ball control.

I have heard he can be a bit rough in the sack, but not really in to that scene myself
