I understand you, but it is a shame you know, because, blue notwithstanding, he is actually one of the most articulate and illuminating commentators on the game out there. He would raise post-match analysis on something like MOTD by levels.

Far better on motd than anything else.
He also makes decent viewing with Linaker and Shearer in their top 10 segments.
Understand how his laugh would annoy folk though.

Bellew is wrong saying Redknapp shouldn't be supporting Liverpool. He played for them for eleven years, if Redknapp’s not a Lpool after that there’s something wrong.

As for Micah… always been an Arsenal fan, traitor to the North supporting a Cockney team he never played for.

I agree - seen Joe on a few things lately and he comes across as a very articulate and respectful man.

He was good on the High Performance podcast too - respectful to Guardiola even though Pep’s decision must’ve been heartbreaking for Joe at the time.

Seems to sum up all that is wrong with expert pundits/legends who’ve played the game at a decent level and think they know better than the top trophy winning managers

I turn on our TV games at kick off, turn off at ht and ft and stopped listening/watching/reading what these cunts say….

He seemed to have accepted Peps decision gracefully and I’ve always liked the guy except when he couldn’t get down quick enough to his left…..love his celebration at the end of QPR game…..
