Michael Shields Freed

The scenes at John Lennon airport will make the lybian lockerbie landing look like a funeral.

One thing that has always puzzled me about the whole hysteria that LFC have drummed up over this subject is that there is little doubt that whoever DID attack the Bulgarian guy is a Liverpool supporter. Now the scousers have got their wish, are they going to tackle the rather unpleasant reality that one of their number is responsible for this disgusting crime?

No, I didn't think so.

I quite agree, it would be nice if the scumbag could be rooted out.

I think he was, and was let off. This whole thing has made england look like a joke, and has probably damaged our relationship with Bulgaria. We are essentially saying, they know nothing and are wrong.

The man who was attacked, must be enrage.

Who are we letting out next, the yorkshire ripper.

wouldn't surprise me to see him paraded on the pitch as guest of honour prior to their game at Anfield on Saturday

A frightening prospect but you may well be right. Another scouse role model for the kids to look up to.

read this and NOT the scouse propagander.

for me he was found guilty by a ligitimate legal system. a large number of witnesses identified him said he did it.

Reading that article i'd say he was guilty.

Scousers refuse to take the blame for anything. For such a small place it seems that almost every shocking new event that rocks the nation happens in that city or involves its natives James Bulger, Anthony Walker, Rhys Jones, Hillsborough, Heysal and now shields....

when it comes to scouse fans they are ALL innocent.
