Hasbara machine into overdrive .... talk about a zone flooded with shit, not helped by those permanently online OSINT geeks. That audio transcript is fucking laughable.

But fair play it works. Take this thread as a barometer. 24 hours ago people were getting squeamish over the thought of a hospital taking a direct hit.

Taking the current temperature I'd say we are good for a few more days of collective punishment and forced displacement. Not to mention the continued carpet/precision bombing.

I’m as critical as anyone on here of the Israeli state/government but I don’t think one atrocity by one side prevents any other atrocities by the other of being war crimes also.

They’re both at it. I’m sure there is plenty to be investigated on both sides if there is to be justice for every innocent person being killed, whether they are Israeli or Palestinian.

All is forgotten about the Israeli Ambassador to Britain highlighting schools and hospitals as enemy buildings.

If Israelis haven’t bombed the hospital they clearly shouldn’t be blamed for it, but now the onslaught against Gaza civilians is likely to continue. Yes Hamas or Islamic Jihad have committed a war crime if they bombed the hospital and should be held accountable, that is if they aren’t killed sooner.

Biden’s visit turned into an embarrassment. Johnson or Trump might have done better.

His pictures still show an impact point in a car park rather than on the hospital, so there seems to be no one on either side saying the hospital itself was actually hit.

Ok lets go back to basics and assume you are right and he posted that tweet after misinformation, a falso assumption, a mistake or whatever you want to call it. But we assume it wasnt based on any IDF knowledge and we forget his sole job in the IDF .

What do you think the odds are that he could post such a specific tweet about a hospital attack right after one gets hit.

They must be enormous odds?

If I did twitter I might well ask him for Saturdays lottery numbers.

Anyway good debate , I've got some work to do.

Given the amount of tweets, messages that have been posted in recent days? Quite high. This is just the most high profile one that has been circulated the most.

Second time you’ve said that and I agree.
As the political forum goes I have to say, given the level of emotive issues arising from current events and the forcefulness of some opposing views, the debate by and large has been analytical and cordial even with its diverse conclusions.

I’ve learned quite a bit, which is always good and I’ve researched areas I’ve wondered about before but either lazily or through pure procrastination haven’t educated myself on.

And there seems to be quite a few on here who just genuinely want justice and are looking in or looking on with an open mind.

The debate has been cordial.
