Milner wants out?

Re: James Milner

I think that now was the time to cash in on him anyway. The squads average age needs to come down.

Milner + £15 million for Barkley ?

He'll play more than enough games at City in the coming seasons as he's proved how good he is. He played in 17 League games, and he'll be a key player for City in the Champions League next season.
I don't disagree, though he might.
It might be agent talk to get City to up his contract. They know we need home grown players, or alternatively it could be kite flying by journos knowing there's easy transfer rumours to be had with City this transfer window with the spending cap

milner will win trophies and play enough games to warrant an england squad place ,

He made it into the world cup squad, I don't think he's too bothered about the next world cup as he'll be 32 by then.

Considering that he won all domestic trophies with us, maybe he isn't interested in trophies anymore. What he wants is regular football, something that he won't get here.

He's playing regularly enough in League and Cup alongside and against great players. I can't believe he is not happy with his lot.

Barry, Lescott, Richards, Sinclair are in different situations

LOL.

He wants to be a regular in the league and champions league not the capital one and fa cup.

So if he wants regular CL that means he goes to Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea - realistically Liverpool the most likely, he wouldn't be a guaranteed starter at Chelsea or Arsenal, would he be a shoe-in at LIverpool I'm not so sure, failing that he goes abroad but where? He'd have to be off to somehwhere like Turkey for guaranteed regular CL football and that would be a backward step !!!

If he is trying to use the FFP ruling to try and get more money off us, then he's massively let himself and the club down. He can quite frankly fuck off if he thinks it's a good idea to try and exploit the club when it's in trouble (not real trouble, but you know what I mean). I honestly can't believe that that would be the case though, I think he's just thinking that the grass is greener on the other side, which I suspect he'll find is not true when he gets there. I can't imagine him getting more game time at any top 4 challenging team, yet alone title challengers.
