He's playing regularly enough in League and Cup alongside and against great players. I can't believe he is not happy with his lot.

Barry, Lescott, Richards, Sinclair are in different situations

LOL.

He wants to be a regular in the league and champions league not the capital one and fa cup.

So if he wants regular CL that means he goes to Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea - realistically Liverpool the most likely, he wouldn't be a guaranteed starter at Chelsea or Arsenal, would he be a shoe-in at LIverpool I'm not so sure, failing that he goes abroad but where? He'd have to be off to somehwhere like Turkey for guaranteed regular CL football and that would be a backward step !!!

Probably Everton.

If Spurs want him I'd do a straight swap for Townsend, who they seem to be willingly shopping. Still get an Englishman on the right side of midfield who's deadly against tired legs. Lose some defensive fortitude, but gain some pace and the possibility of late goals on the edge of the 18 that we've missed since AJ left.

Re: James Milner

He's deluded if he thinks he should be playing more regularly.
One story claimed he was disappointed to be subbed in the Villa game. He was playing awfully, all his crosses were woeful apart from the one when nasri should have scored.

Another low light was that "cross" that went straight out of play at end of Sunderland 2-2 game. Garbage.

I would hold him to his final year and let him leave for free if he won't sign new deal.
Hardly pulled up trees.
Without us he'd not have 2 PL's, FA Cup and League Cup medals.
We wouldn't make any accounting loss despite what media are trying to spin.

Thought he was happy to be part of the team.

This central midfield business is nonsense too, he's not good enough there

I don't mind Everton - apparently they have to pay us £2.5m for Barry as well if the take him on a permanent deal (apparently part of the loan agreement) - That might put us in a position to ask for Barkley in swap/cash deal. I would have him in a heartbeat he is a top talent!!

Townsend is one of the worst shooters I've ever seen. He shoots all the time and they never go in, last year he took 56 shots and not a single one of them went in. His only goal was a cross that he overhit so badly it went in the far corner. Didn't get a single assist either

If Jimmy wants to go, would be a shame but we'll figure something out.

What I would say is this - Arsenal are 'reportedly' prepared to pay 10 million for an England international at the peak age of his career? 10 million my fucking hole. Get your hand in your pocket Wenger you miserable old shithouse and hand back some of the exorbitant transfer fees you have had out of City over the years. We should be looking at 17 million plus IMO.

Spot-on
He was in Zabba's way as well once he went off, replaced by Jovetic, we scored 4

If that is the case then let him go.

why?its what he pays his agent to do. If i was joe hart I'd be "questioning my future" in the press too.

Me too, fair play to any player who is smart enough to do this.

If he wants to go this is what I'd do. It's been reported that Arsenal have a £4m buy back clause for Carlos Vela. It seems that Vela constitutes as home grown from his time at Arsenal. So I'd swap Milner for Vela and although I like Jovetic, I'm still worried about his injury problems so I'd sell him and use that money to help pay for Malanga, Fernando and/or whoever.

milner will win trophies and play enough games to warrant an england squad place ,

He made it into the world cup squad, I don't think he's too bothered about the next world cup as he'll be 32 by then.

Considering that he won all domestic trophies with us, maybe he isn't interested in trophies anymore. What he wants is regular football, something that he won't get here.
i agree, i think he simply wants a new challenge and one where hes a guarenteed starter every week
