Missed out on a ticket for the derby?

Whereas a supporters club order tickets in the names of the members that have enough points to get the tickets.
Exactly the same mate.

You have to give your name, seasoncard number and your supporters number when you apply for these tickets? or at least at our branch you do.

If a certain branch edits the rules slightly why should that affect the rest of the branches that do it correctly?

because I don't see what's so fucking difficult about supporters going through the club to buy tickets if they're eligible.

Simply because if you have say 5000 points. You are guaranteed to get to all the other games in the season.

However the away derby week despite having 5000 points the chances of getting a ticket are very slim. This isnt because all the top points holders want a ticket. Its because the people within the supporters clubs with 2000, 3000 or even 4000 less points get them.

I have had no problem getting tickets to the 14 away games i have been to so far this season with my 5130 loyalty points. But for the derby i have missed out.

DITTO!
In exactly the same boat, i must know 30 people who have got derby tickets who have got less points than me and I'm not talking 20/30 less i'm talking thousands less!!

If your really that bothered.. then make a complaint to the club. But please dont start swearing at me for making a valid point!
Unless you are a member of an OSC and know how the system works?

There has to be perks to joining a supporters clubs, because it's a lot harder than you think trying to get blues to attend meetings. Well that is unless there is a player visit.

wasn't swearing at you.

and no i don't, nor do i go to away games. just think it's a fair point that supporters clubs shouldn't be able to sell tickets, and if they do it should be 1 ticket to 1 person eligible, same rules as the loyalty points.

no perks for joining an OSC? then they should try harder to come up with something...don't see the point of them anyway.

I was told by a mate of mine, that courtesy of a supporters club (which I won't name) a blue who "never goes to games" (I'd imagine that was exaggerated a little, but nonetheless) was given 5 tickets for the derby, two of which he has now given to rags.

So, if like me, you narrowly missed out on a ticket due to your loyalty points you can sleep safely in the knowledge that there will be a 'blue' taking two rags along with himself in the away end.

Good ol' supporters clubs.

utter bollox

So because you dont see the point of them... you must automatically be correct?

You should maybe join an OSC before you knock it?

I refuse to join one as i am more than capable of picking up the phone and ordering my own ticket when it falls into my points criteria. Plus i dont think i am a worthy enough Blue to be in such company.
OSC - Taking the piss out of tickets criteria for years!!!

Yeah okay.. now the argument has decended into a debate on what the supporters club actually does. what a joke!

Because clearly all they do is dish out tickets to rags on derby days?!
I can't believe how ignorant people are.

never said I was automatically correct, though I do believe I'm right on the ticket issue, whatever else an OSC does I'm not really bothered about as long as it's in-house.

Nobody is having a dig at what OSC do in getting fans together from all over they are just questioning the blatant abuse of the ticketing policy. It is morally wrong and all you are doing is seeing of fans who aint members but have the correct points criteria of getting tickets. I have no problem with you bulk ordering so you can sit together when the demand will be low but for games which will be of high demand we should all come as one and you order your own ticket when it falls into you criteria. A question i have also is for those going to Man U away from a supporters club are you all sat together?? Because if you are it means you have been given an allocation of tickets irrespective of members points. The only people who do not think it is wrong is those who are members of OSC and are to thick skinned to admit it is a piss take
OSC = Abusing the ticketing policy and seeing off fellow blues for years!!
