My wife told me about the shite on there today...

Apparently she was having an affair with her boss & was out with him the night before. The husband has previously found out about it so they had separated, but he wasn't too bothered coz he'd been seeing her sister, but then he decided that he was bothered about it, so killed her, but it might not have been him it might have been one of the dodgy detectives cos all police officers are rapists now...Either way, she's in the lake behind the field that she was last in cos some psychic medium on twitter said so, and the police know she's in there but won't search it cos they are covering up the fact that it might be a dodgy rapist detective that's done it...

And I thought twitter was bad FFS

The police seem pretty incompetent. Communication to the press and public has been woeful.

Why would you not search a nearby empty house being done up for renovation? Should they also have cordoned off the area earlier this week rather than fully backing the "falling in the river" theory.

Yes. But you need other compelling evidence.

Maybe partly due to its mystery elements, I.e. things not adding up on the face of it. There seem to more “how comes”, “why’s” and “what ifs” than your average missing person case.

And they knew exactly where she was because of actual sightings, then in the space of about 10 minutes she vanished? The whole thing is baffling.

Yes true. That was a bit implied in my post. I notice she is originally from Essex not Lancashire so there could be an oddball in her past.
