Monaco - Post Match thread.

Please, can somebody from the club enlighten us , the supporters, what the situation with kompany is.
Is he finished?
Left out because he has too much influence in the sheds?
Headspace not there?
We hear in peps team talk that he has a full squad ( minus long term injured) quite often, and hes not even in the squad.Surely in a multi million pound industry, where failure to qualify champions league not only costs financially but also hinders top player recruitment, he would be in any of the champions league teams, but not ours?
Were playing a failed left back, as centre half. We have a centre back, who had the reputation of being a quality defender in La liga, sat on the bench. We also have a centre half on loan in La Liga, who had the reputation of being one of the best in Portugal!! Over 60 million quids worth, that turns to shit and we end up with the serb that to a man we wanted rid of after last seasons disgarceful on field effort. Some fuckers head has to roll for this situation.
Tell us the truth, its the least we deserve

This tie encapsulates where we are at present as a team.

To score 6 in a tie at this level is excellent.

To concede 6 in a tie at this level is the polar opposite.

We are sorted as an attacking unit. The defensive element (from front to back and as 'a team') is woefully short.

New personnel desperately required at GK, FB (both sides), CB and DM.

Mendy, Sidibe and Fabinho for starters please.

To me players are run into the ground because too many are either too old, too injured or never good enough in the first place.

You have to be a wum - either that or you are a bona-fide, class a twat

We threw away a 2 goal first leg advantage for the first time in our history - yet internet keyboard warriors throw out insults to anyone who thinks the manager is pretty poor.

I still can't fathom Yaya not playing a single minute. Fernandinho couldn't even bring the ball out from the back against Stoke never mind Monaco. The most bizarre decision of the Pep era so far. Yaya is the true leader of our team, the guy everyone looks up to, the calming influence. To not play him was suicide.
