yet we seem to have done better with results since Demechelis became a regular.. funny that..

True but going forward we are sublime, unfortunately defensively at times we are horrific. Not blaming Demechellis for it all but he certainly doesn't help at times by always going off his feet.
In saying that, not sure he could match Vinny's OG yesterday :)

Well Demichelis was in BBC team of the day making more clearances than any other defender. So was Silva, Hansen's other target. Why doesn't the twat just retire?

Why retire when yer can screw the licence fee payer for what is the most overpaid shite ever to be broadcast by a public service broadcaster in the history of television?

If that see u next tuesday turns up on Boxing Day I hope we are in good voice!

Our defence is so "poor" but the mighty top of the league liverpool have conceded a grand total of 1 less than us.

I admire the fairness of some, but really... The pass of the season ignored (imagine if the new diver at the Swamp had done that), nothing on the capacity to come back to win after a freak own goal (the stuff of champions, they'd have said of the Rags even if they hadn't deserved it - like most of the early part of last season), and three cracking goals not "analysed", and looking at the lapses of a defender who was in their own team of the day for making 44 interceptions none of which were shown.

Whilst Hansen was scathing in Demichelis and Vinnys OG Least Lineker kept reminding him were doing alright.

At least acknowledge Yayas brilliant FK and an absolute peach of a cross from Negredo.

Don't particularly like Hansen but he's spot on about Demechellis, his constant diving in is the sort of thing young kids do, not experienced pro's.

Yes, well said.

Yes, in reference to the poster saying they are setting us up to fail. They are right, it is ours to lose but potential away defeats, of which there have been 4, compared to our home form could cost us. That is a fact.

There have been 4 actual away defeats and no potential ones. Fact ;)
Exactly. ;-)
Do you think Demichelis had a bad game? That was Hansen's claim. We all know why he chose this moment to emphasise the negative. his claims would have more merit if they focused on clichy's game.

It's fair enough criticising City fans for being defensive in respect of criticism of their team at times, but on this occasion the defensive knee jerk defence is your own towards our detractor

For me there is something that is absolutely undeniable in Hansen's analysis: if Liverpool had scored four away from home, following a previous narrative of indifferent away form, to go second in the Premier League - one point behind the leaders - he wouldn't have found very much to be negative about.

It is entirely natural for players to favour the clubs where they spent the most enjoyable years of their careers. The fact that the BBC and Sky is crawling with ex-Liverpool players means that club will never receive the same levels of criticism as City, as long as that situation endures.

In 20 years time though those same shows will be littered with city players from this successful era we are enjoying, hopefully.

Obvious what Deirdre Barlow neck was up to. He should do a Graeme Swann and put us out of our misery. Fucking dinosaur....
