Just heard it on 6music.
Forgotten it already.
I doubt it would find a label to release it if it didn't feature the less talented Gallagher brother.
In fact Frank Gallagher could probably do better.

That's the best post-Oasis song I've heard from either side.
It's powerful; which Noel certainly has stayed away from. He's just gone for middle of the road, safe, charty, boringness...whereas "Flick Of The Finger" is different.
I was very disappointed with Beady Eye's first album. It lacked identity and direction. And considering this section of Oasis came up with one of the band's very best ever songs in "Soldier On" (Noel only found out about that track from the lead singer of The Coral who rang him and said "Noel, that "Soldier On" is boss mate!" when Liam Gem and Andy had recorded it after a night in the pub) I was expecting more from them.
But I like this and I hope the album has a bit more umph to it.
