Im Herru, i know its kinda weird name for some of you but well..
i've been supporting City since 2006. I remember i cant find a single person who support City here but me. I remember i hardly had football conversation with most of my friend here because they all supporting bigger club such as united, barca, juve, and blu blu. But i dont care, i keep following City even they were only mid table club.
But now, as some of you already know, as City get more and more success, many people from all around world "somehow" become City fan. Including here in Indonesia. Mostly from last year. Some fans clubs, websites, social networking clubs related to city "appear". I didnt ask each of them one by one but i believe most of them support City no longer than a year, and im afraid some of them support City because they thinks City will going to win many thropies (GH). But personally i dont have a problem with that, i cant complain anyone for supporting something that great like City for whatever reason.
But i dont want City fans become like rags, i dont want City fan do something embarassing to City.
And since most you guys live in Manchester, which is i think the most important City fans. I got some question for you about it :
1. What you think about foreign City fans?
2. As i said many City fan club appear here, some of them who come first- i think- get annoyed by others who come later, even one of them said "i have a friend that have a friend that have a friend that friend with Nigel de Jong, so my club is better" wich was f*ckin silly. And im afraid this supporters clubs thing will lead City fan here become tosser who think they can instanly become City fan by joining Supporters club without knowing about City itself and City fan whos in club is better than whos not.
So How important you think being in supporters club for City fans?
3. Just Like other supporters clubs here, City supporters clubs in indonesia held event watching the game together from big screen which i think is good. But sometime they do it with some of our rival supporters club, they call it watching the game together to make a good friendship with other supporters club, even with united supporters club, which i cant like it very much.
so what you guys think about that?
Your opinion will be so appreciated, and please be honest

Evidence also shows that at other big clubs this has happened.fbloke said:So in short you are blaming fans you dont know (if the in fact exist) for something that hasn't yet happened (and the evidence so far suggests wont happen)?
And to make it worse the fact that we now support a team that lasts longer in cup competitions, offering more games to watch is also a bad thing?
Go get 'em tiger.
Evidence suggests that City are not other clubs and the current owner(s) are not like other owners.
The loyalty points thing is a bump in the road compared to the problems other clubs fans have to put up with (like having to join cup schemes).
Evidence tells me that £25 for an adult (on the night prices as well I think) to watch a group stage CL match is far from extortionate.
Evidence suggested last year that a Europa League match at £15 and a fiver for a junior put City slap bang in the affordability of even the less well off fans, i.e. the working class fan.
What is also clear is that in the previous 30 seasons we, the good old, loyal local City fans © MCFCLiam 2011, got exactly what we paid for.
Now we are getting something far beyond the price on the ticket.
A bit like watching Jason Manford for the cost of a Bernard Manning ticket (See Jason I can be nice).
BlueHerts said:OK, I might open myself up to a bit of abuse but here goes....
Done my time as a season ticket holder home away for years then a mixture of 2 kids and having to work shift patterns meant 'home and away' became a bit more ad-hoc, then the Pearce season finished me off, vowed that was it and couldn't justify spending all the money anymore. Sven comes in, re-invigorated I go to more games than ever but on a 'pay as you go' basis. End of that season work relocated me south just when it all goes off with the takeover, sign up to Bluemoon (because I miss the banter while I'm down here and finding out what's going on) but of course that means I'm a glory hunter as everyone who signs up after 2008 is a glory hunter....to make it worse use the name 'Blueherts' in the hope I can find local blues around here which I do (kudos Tueartsboots) but I have a southern username, damn me to hell. Now can't get to many games, when I'm north it's to see my kids primarily but this season (son older and interested now) it's possible for me to go more often and can time my visits to take advantage of both more often than not, not often enough to get a season ticket.
So long story short, I don't play the loyalty points game, I don't have a season ticket, I don't live in Manchester anymore and l definitely qualify as a daytripper (last night left work here at 3, got back home 2am), so I take a few pictures...I'm clearly 'on my own' as my mates are in another part of the ground and I get abuse for being a glory hunter and a tourist as I'm apparently in someone elses seat and wasn't there on Saturday. I wasn't at York or Mansfield either for the record but the way some people treat the club like somekind of closed shop is getting ridiculous, I probably don't go to as many games you do, I probably don't have the points you do but to make people in the ground feel unwelcome just seems faintly wrong to me, if the ground was full and people were getting turned away.....maybe but that isn't the case. Everyone wants the bigger ground and the atmosphere but to get that you have to get the people through the turnstiles, turning on other blues is hardly going to facilitate that and I still have my dulcet Droylsden lilt to at least placate people.
This isn't a rant at the OP by any stretch, just pissed off about last night and this seemed as good a place as any to vent my spleen. Cheers....

For a 19yr old or whatever you are, you are one moaning fucker.
In your world you can only support City if you were born within the sound of the bells of St Kents!
How the fuck is it moaning?!
I'm one of the most optimistic Blues you'll ever meet compared to some people I know.
What? A song in their own language?
Where in your original post say they were foreign? You said tourist which can allude to anything. So which nationality were they Bellwhat?
By the way did you notice Bayern fans singing in English? Proof that singing foreign songs does work.
That's all i'm now saying on the matter as its like talking to a child, which in essence you really are.
Got to agree not my not funny at all but each to there own I supposeBlueBalls said:Charity work or no charity work Manning was a nasty man....and not very funny.
