That chubby guy - who obviously thinks it is a prerequisite to wear a daft hat or scarf in every video - really annoys me for some reason. He clearly has too much time on his hands and has genuinely put in too much thought to producing a football kit.

There is usually a differentiation between the domestic and European kits. For instance the rags wear mainly red/black socks in league and cups but wear mostly white socks in Europe. And we had maroon numbers last year in the EL...

So, is there a chance that we'll wear white shorts in the CL?

I'm with the majority in saying that I'm not happy about the team wearing blue shorts. It just reminds me of the bad times... But to start facebook and twatter groups is just ridiculous and will just get us laughed at.

Suppose they're going to say the city fans are with the team the whole time considering they have the dots on the shirt which represent the fans singing bluemoon?!

If they removed the dots below the sound wave, the chequered squares behind the collar and made the shorts white it would actually be another fine effort by Umbro.

The shirt has grown on me a little over time, still not convinced with the dish-cloth collar but when we see Oooh Balotelli smash in a few goals in it I'm sure it will grow on us all.

Not that bothered about the dark blue Etihad and Umbro logo either as I grew up watching City in shirts with a dark blue Brother sponsor, and dark blues socks, first shirt I owned was the 87-89 kit we got promoted in (White's got to be quicker than Jackson to get there, he is, MOOORRLEEYYYY)

but I agree with most of the comments about the shorts, think the hooped socks would have looked great with white shorts, like City in the fifties, and still see our "traditional colours" as Blue, White with Maroon trim.

Before I get told "not to effing buy it then" I hope that we win something else this season, as people will look back at us in blue shorts with a lot more fondness than they do now, and it is still City after all.
