Thanks. A sign that the sales must be slow.

What do they expect? Times are tough, season ticket prices have gone up way above inflation, and most pay rises (IF we get one) are below inflation.

MCFC should be cutting the prices for this poorer quality Nike product. I will probably be wearing the Umbro or retro because they are better quality, and I'll keep the £44 in my pocket thanks.

...and if football clubs lived in the real world, season ticket prices should be cut too (though Tw@tini is much to blame with this)

Looks that way, plus with it being online only people are less likely to send it back when it starts to fall apart after a few days :)

But hey everything is on sale so might be some bargains to be had.

Ticket prices - up (every year now).
Blue membership - up.
Kit prices - up.
Wages - err... not up.

Wouldn't surprise me if food and drink prices went up with the Jamie Oliver brand attached to it.

Try to keep in touch with your core fan base City, the majority of us aren't southern tarquins with loads of disposable income.

I wouldn't buy one even if they offered 50% off. The 'championship' winning shirt is 2 years old and looks and feels better, makes no sense to buy something i dont like and dont really need.

Found this: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.footballshirtculture.com/13/14-kits/as-roma-2013-2014-home-football-shirt.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.footballshirtculture.com/13/ ... shirt.html</a> kind of ironic after reading this thread

"AS Roma will wear this unbranded kit this season after dropping supplier Kappa after a legal dispute over alleged quality and distribution issues.

AS Roma and Nike announced a new partnership for Nike to become the club's official apparel and equipment sponsor. The 10-year agreement will begin at the start of the 2014-15 season."

Wouldn't be surprised if the price dropped even lower,It's a gash shirt!

Got my shirt the other Sunday. Wore it once to play 5 a side and it's resulted in two small pulls right under the Etihad printing.

I've had last three seasons Umbro shirts and they've been worn twice a week for five a side, thus washed twice since they launched until the new one launched and they are all in top order. Not a single mark, pull, loose thread or tear on any of them.

I've also got a Spain away shirt which sometimes gets a run out, this is made by Adidas and it's the silky fabric but this too has never pulled.

I think the loose spun fabric design is at fault here, it's not great to be honest. And I feel a little aggrieved to say the least.
Adidas are probably the most elite brand in the sportswear market. they produce some very high quality products.
apparently Adidas were in the running to be City's new kit supplier , but Nike offered more money .......
what a mistake !!! , Nike are Toss !!
