New Ticket Website, not fit for purpose

Tried buying my Liverpool ticket today on my pc which has windows 10 and on Google chrome.
All seemed to be fine till you get to the pay button and nothing happens.

It is shockingly bad and is no doubt costing them ticket sales. Even an announcement saying they are aware there are issues and are seeking to resolve them would be nice however the silence suggests they think it's all fine
I’m told it works fine!

Can’t get it to work on either phone or iPad. But it will work on my shitty old work’s PC/tablet.
But I’m out and about tomorrow walink the coast trail and I ain’t lugging my PC with me for Hoffenheim tickets.

To me the silence suggests they don't give a shit about matchday fans, but that doesn't sit right with their desire to squeeze every last penny out of us, so now I'm more confused than someone trying to use the fucking site in the first place....

We KNOW they look at this site, so who's sitting in the board meetings telling everyone "That Bluemoon, they're all so positive about us on there. No complaints whatsoever."?
I don’t think they do give a shit about match going fans, and haven’t for some time. The list of complaints on the issue are ridiculous.

I have had issues with the last 2 lots of away tickets I tried to buy ( Cardiff & Wolves ) after not having any issues before that. I was using my iPad & Safari browser as I always do to buy away tickets. Everything went fine up until I tried to pay, i am sort of getting the hang of the crazy selecting extra tickets, then deleting & re allocating system, though as others have said its much worse than th old system ( as bad as that was ). When it came to pressing the pay button, nothing! I ended up with Customer Services on both occasions, on the phone for 30 or so mins & they eventually agreed to waive the booking fee ( would have been £7.50 as I was ordering 3 tickets ).
I was not looking forward to buying Liverpool, but I downloaded the Chrome App & went into the system to buy using that, no problems, I’ve no idea why.
I don’t know wether it was just luck or for some reason the ticket site prefers the Chrome browser to Safari, but I will find out tomorrow as I am buying Oxford tickets.
Let’s see what happens.

We do online ticketing as part of my job so surely an all singing all dancing site like City’s should be compatible with most browsers? None of us would dream of charging the booking fee in this instance.

I had wondered why Cardiff away wasn’t selling!

Slightly off topic but think this tweet sort of sums up the service us fans get these days.
@mancityhelp is the official contact point we as fans have with the club and we should expect accurate up to date information from them yet when they tweet telling you to check online yourself cos there not sure and use phrases like 'as far as I am aware' it really does portray a totally amateurish set up on everything administrative within the club

totally agree with the OP, spent most of the morning competing against the stupid site trying to order hoffenheim tickets, and then an hour sat waiting on the phone to speak to customer services, i can honestly see why people just give up, way way too much hassle, especially when you are attempting to work at the same time.

I used to do some work for a bus company, they often said that if it wasn't for the passengers everything would be great. Maybe City have nicked their idea.

Buses need people filling seats. City less so. Supporter Service is poor. Always has been.

and I am still trying to sort my not bloody working season cards yes cards 3 weeks after I informed them then tried to shame them on twitter
and they don't have a fucking clue !!!!

No you are missing the point, Ok it was tongue in cheek but they were saying the passengers messed up the excellent running of the buses, they wanted to get on which played havoc with the timetable, then they wanted to pay causing further delays. To make matters worse the buggers always insisted on getting off as well. trust me, if buses didn't have to pick anyone up they would always be on time.

The whole website is a disastrous. The videos on main site, trying to buy from the city store online and ticket site really amateur for such a global brand. Been like that since that Wix mob took over.

I don’t think it did tbh
I think you have to contact Supporter Services for changing details to your direct debit.
ah ok cheers. Definitely had more direct debit info on the previous site but maybe that was just a list of the payment dates

Amidst complaints about the ticketing site, the seat availability works much better than before.

I have checked online periodically throughout the week, and I can see right down to individual seats. In previous seasons the system would say there were seats available in certain blocks but if you clicked on them there would be nothing available. Now all those blocks which say there is availability have seats, and it looks to me like there is a high turnover of seats going through ticket exchange. So that's working.

I have been checking the web-site to see if Fulham return block 313. It seems to me that they have taken 3,000 seats and I'll be amazed if they fill them. Fulham are traditionally a side with a very poor away support so why have they not returned tier 3? I suspect they have put the whole 3,000 up for sale and come nowhere near to selling them. If so, I hope city charge them for doing so as it affects City fans.
