Newcastle fans

The Fairs Cup was a strange competition. The first edition was played over two or three seasons and featured a London select side.

There was a rule that only teams from Cities could qualify and I think only one team per City (hence the London select team).

By the late 1960s and early 1960s, it was probably on a par with the Cup Winners Cup. By the time it was rebadged as the UEFA Cup, some felt it was harder to win than the European Cup.
The Fairs cup was played for by teams from cities where the trade fairs were held during the 60’s. Teams didn’t qualify by league position.

Back in the day they were evil and horrible, like everyone else probably, they've now forgotten year upon year of nobody going to watch then, proper shit crowds but always had good numbers away ,now they think they're massive and the best fans ever. Gobby bellends really. Media fed shitehawks.

Newcastle averaged 51,106 last time they were in the Championship.
Don’t know if you googled that but there were plenty of empty seats in their last Championship season at a lot of games. They may have used season ticket sales to pump up the numbers but there were clearly not 51k supporters as an average.
