Newcastle United (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Think Kevin's absence could be the making of Phil, he was born to play in a more central role and has all the tools. Kovacic also outstanding, see's the gap and goes through it, really impressed with us yesterday

Last night reminded me of the Mancini when played Kolo Toure at rightback against Liverpool Sterling roasted him for pretty much the whole game! just before the end of the transfer window. Felt like he was trying to make a point not changing anyone for the full 90mins. That being said great performance and its games like that that define your season, still early days but that was a really tough game for us given the build up

It’s ridiculous that a city the size of ours and as busy into the early hours has this utterly pathetic transport system. 23.17 the last Met to Mcr Airport, on a Saturday night. Wankers.
There are trains after that to th'airport though,
last about half midnight last night.

I’ve thought about getting that but I live in Baguley so it’s take me ages to walk from Gatley/Heald Green/Airport if I got the train, whereas the Met stop is on the end of my road.

Plus anyone further up the Met line to me in NorthernMoor, Chorlton etc. aren’t anywhere near that train line.

Absolutely fuck all on the right hand side, walker doing 2 jobs , and Newcastle fans win the day
One the train home and the only good thing was the result. Terrible welcome home by the fans for the treble winners
did you catch many?
