Are there three teams worse than them this season? I think they're in a right battle to stay up this year.
Crucial they do what we do, and get some steel and experience in first. We were actually in a relegation scrap until we got the likes of Bellamy, Given and De Jong in. Supplement the quality in after you have strenghted the core

I'm no fan of Steve Bruce but the way the Toon fans have treated him is a disgrace. He's a self confessed Newcastle fan from childhood, had little financial backing from Ashley and appears to have done his best under difficult circumstances. No excuse for all that booing at the final whistle today. The players did their best but the squad is championship material. TBF they made Spuds look like world beaters and that's down to Ashley, not Bruce. Its gonna be a long hard road for the so called richest club on the planet. Let's see how many marquee signings they make when they're rooted in the relegation zone in January.

They need to spend 500m in the January sales just to stay up

i truly believe the gap is bigger than they think
getting a winning mentally is hard enough ? but throwing money at it when really you should be stabilizing the club in the first place will end up with mission impossible if your not careful

newcastle need stabilizing in the premier league and if you think about it manchester city did just that from 2003 to 2008 ? newcastle under mike ashly should have had 5 years of premier league football under there belt.
mid-table team getting 40 points as quickly as possible learning to fight the better teams home and away

newcastle will not spend 500million in any window and will clubs sell as well because they need players for themselves for the fights they have.. money is not the answer at this stage of the season its a manager with knowledge of what it needs to keep them up
then go from there

You're spot on with that sir. I don't like Bruce much either but that after match interview was like watching a train crash. I'd seriously be close to lumping some of these dickhead reporters in the same position
