It wouldn’t stay on.
It wouldn’t stay on.
Ya. Health and Safety would probably make a meal of it too.Probably get a nasty burn as well.
I'm sure it won't be "announced" as such, just mentioned at tomorrows (Friday) press conference. The vote was yesterday, announced today
Laporte not even mentioned in that argument?I don't think it will be Silva, Dinho or even Kun for that matters. Once they've picked the captain, he has to be in it for the long haul (at least 5 years or so) and must play the majority of the games barring injury (rules out Stones for now). We can't be picking a new captain every 2 years. This leaves Kev, Raz, and Bernardo. I think Kev and Raz are more vocal than Bernardo. In my opinion it will be Kev with Raz as vice captain.
Yeah I don't see it either, he doesn't strike me as a leader at all for some reason. I think he needs to concentrate on becoming a regular in the team first.Honestly bewilders me why people keep saying Stones. Otamendi has worn the armband over him, he's simply not a captain.
He also barely played at the business end of the season because he was going through personal problems. Doesn't really seem like the right time for that discussion regardless.Yeah I don't see it either, he doesn't strike me as a leader at all for some reason. Is it a Mayor type appointment now? Reward for long service for someone on their way out? There is only Sterling who was been at the club for more than 4 years who will be here in another 4 so I would give it him.
I would say being fluent in English would be one of the requirements, otherwise how would they communicate or deliver speeches right hahaLaporte not even mentioned in that argument?
It was one of the players that said it, Bernardo I think, I took it as meaning announced to the players (today)?I'm sure it won't be "announced" as such, just mentioned at tomorrows (Friday) press conference.
Yeah, but you said 'most captains are fiery'. So I'm showing you that they aren't. Football has moved on since the Viera/Keane types and I don't think they're necessary anymore. You could argue KDB merits being captain based on his performances on the pitch. But he's young and can lose his head. Me personally, I'd rather have a cool head at the helm. Especially someone who's won everything in England, numerous times as well as 3 trophies at international level. That's an even more pathetic argument since all those captains you pick are shit captains mate. We don't even need to go far to look for it as we got Vinnie and you know how Vinnie was/is.
I picked a trait that was there in our captain and said most captains are like that. You went ahead and listed the shittiest captain of the bunch. Good for you.Yeah, but you said 'most captains are fiery'. So I'm showing you that they aren't. Football has moved on since the Viera/Keane types and I don't think they're necessary anymore. Spot on this, couldn't agree more ..KDB all the way .I'm hoping its Kev,make Silva club Captain if sentiment is needed.
We need an inspirational and automatic starter, with leadership abilities, and who speaks well in public,as team Captain - Kev fits the bill perfectly.
