Kolo Toure please.

Still the best defender I've ever seen in a City shirt. I used to worship Dunne, but the fact that we've brought in someone of the quality of Toure eases my pain somewhat. A real ball playing centre half, I love 'em I do.

only guy for me is the player who never seems flustered,always calm,reads the game well,good in the tackle,strong in the air..and doesn't take any shit....

given seems to be a big character in the dressing room,he has the experience and respect of the players and manager.but really we need someone to act like a captain in each third of the pitch.

I'd personally go for De Jong then because he is always out spoken on the pitch he always shouting some form of instructions to individuals plus being in the centre of midfield its easier for him to interact with everyone on the pitch then it would be for someone say like Shay Given whos in net.
