Next Captain

Vinnie should be the captain he gave everything last year and he deserves to be the captain. Nige should probably be vice captain even though Micah would run him close to be the vice captain

Tevez should NEVER have been captain. I'm disappointed in City for making him captain last season. He was a shite captain and I'm also disappointed that it was him that lifted the FA Cup! Never mind though, let's make the right choice this time!<br /><br />-- Sun Jul 10, 2011 9:06 am --<br /><br />

I sit in close proximity to the pitch at the CoMS and have noticed that the number one organiser and motivator on the pitch is Nigel de Jong. I actually noticed toward the end of last season that Jolean Lescott was doing a lot of this as well, when we were playing Spurs we started the first 20minutes fucking wank and when one of their players went down injured Jolean went round the whole team having a word with everyone (including Kompany) and when play resumed we broke away and won the corner that we scored from and everyone ran to Lescott!

I was thinking this when I read it, little hint by City. Hopefully it does mean Vinnie is our captain.
 
only need to look at the semi final to see who our new captain is. and agree with the poster about being a bit gutted about tevez lifting the fa cup

Did Vinny take control when the plane was in the air?

I haven't seen Tevez's mouth working the words "I cannot stay any longer in this Cheshire shithole!" Before we do, I think that Mancini should appoint Vinny captain for the first couple of games whilst Carlos is kickin' an Argie ball. When he comes back, if he comes back, job's done!

My vote goes to Vinnie and he should be made captain immediately.
What has happened with Teves since we won the cup has tarnished my memories of winning it, especially seeing him on recordings remove City scarves when going up to receive the cup.
Was there any need to slag off Manchester on Argie Tv?
He was in Manchester for 2 years with the Rags and must have had a good idea about what life was like in Manc and yet still signed a 5 year contract with us. When we were trying to buy him it was reported we had the best chance as he wanted to stay in Manchester.
Why on earth should a guy like this be our captain no matter how many goals he scores. I agree he has been a great goal scorer in our team, probably doing better with us than anyone else but he is still appears to be an obnoxious little get.

The most vivid memory from the game after I got back and watched the replay was that twat disposing of the 2 scarves placed around his neck by loving and adoring fans, totally from that point he was a gone and the quicker he go's the better, come on Vinny
