Hello Trueblue. I think in 12 months Navas will go to Sevilla but then Roberts will come in so I don' t think the age is too big a deal. It's a positive in a way in that he is experienced. If Nolito signs that will be two quality players who will strengthen the first team. With Navas and Silva, and plenty of Spanish speakers like the South Americans, he should be able to settle in OK.Hi mate....when I first read about this deal getting done I was concerned it meant we'd moved on from Sane....but not sure they are the same player and believe Sane is the protect and long term talent Pep enjoys helping to reach their full potential....Sane is the long term "build your team around" type player (like a Kev signing)...I like the Nolito signing but at 30yrs old in Oct...I dont see it as a player we can count on for the next 5years...Where Sane would give us that, in my opinion!
Looks like Stones might be the next move but maybe after the Euros. The position I think we really need to strengthen is left back. Other than talk about Laporte playing on the left, there haven't been any links I can think of with left backs.
