Do led’s emit heat ?? ( assuming it’s led screens ? )I was hoping for sound, but thought about the need for cooling the screens by fans rather than the bracing Manchester weather
Is this the ground floor layout in the hotel?I never realised that the food & beverage outlets under the hotel were so extensive. Do they all look accessible to fans on matchday?

Forgive me but why would they produce such a big food and drink ( multi company )outlet and not have it fully available on match days ?? I could possibly believe some of the smaller outlets not being open on non match days though I suspect part of the lease will include 7 day opening :-)I never realised that the food & beverage outlets under the hotel were so extensive. soon wont need 35K if prices increase like they want them too 100 to 150 ticket because special eventNot many grounds could offer 35k tickets for each team which is why it works at Wembley
Is that core within the tripod a temporary holding piece? Not that it's particularly important but they look like tripods but with an extra, central (vertical) leg. Damned if I know what you'd call it though.
This is the food court on the GF below the hotel , reception and dining on the 1st floorIs this the ground floor layout in the hotel?
It is the GF layout, but this is all public and third party F&B and independent of the hotel. Open to all. The hotel's breakfast and dining spaces start on the first floor, they only have the entrance up to it on the GF, from the rear in purple. Is this the ground floor layout in the hotel?
I would imagine that match days will be the only opportunity for the outlets to make a profit.Forgive me but why would they produce such a big food and drink ( multi company )outlet and not have it fully available on match days ?? Not necessarily. People will want to get food before a gig/show at the arena. People will do tours of the stadium. Staff at the offices and hotel, guests of the hotel, etc. There are plenty about that could use the food outlets outwith match days.I would imagine that match days will be the only opportunity for the outlets to make a profit.
It'll be interesting to see how much use City Hall gets outside of games. Not necessarily. People will want to get food before a gig/show at the arena. People will do tours of the stadium. In the sketch? No, not that it came to fruition anyway but it looks odd, glad they went with the 4 legged design. Is that core within the tripod a temporary holding piece?
With it being split into 3 distinct and independent areas I wasn't sure of the one on the east side of the hotel especially.Forgive me but why would they produce such a big food and drink ( multi company )outlet and not have it fully available on match days ?? Each leg represents a title in a dominant period of time.In the sketch? No, not that it came to fruition anyway but it looks odd, glad they went with the 4 legged design.
They obviously had a great deal of foresight not to have put a fifth leg on for this seasonEach leg represents a title in a dominant period of time.
It’s difficult to judge how many outlets they’ll be from the plan posted, and how scalable they’ll be on non-match days and so on.Not necessarily. People will want to get food before a gig/show at the arena. People will do tours of the stadium. Staff at the offices and hotel, guests of the hotel, etc. There are plenty about that could use the food outlets outwith match days.
I'd expect some sort of Cafe as part of the museum and shop would be open daily, plus there will be something in the hotel open to the public, probably a restaurant and a coffee shop. Wasn't there also supposed to be seating and food outlets by the arena /canal?Not necessarily. People will want to get food before a gig/show at the arena. People will do tours of the stadium. Staff at the offices and hotel, guests of the hotel, etc. There are plenty about that could use the food outlets outwith match days.
I think you have the advantage of people feeding you info on points you admit you don't know about. Mr Drone would have been much better if he'd kept his comments objective and did a bit of research first, but who am I to criticise?I hate appearing on them, do it occasionally but not very often. I don’t even like doing the commentary, if I watch it back I always have the sound down
