Does anyone else suspect the angle of the front cables is going to change?

The cables that connect to the cable net? Are they not connecting to the plate you highlighted earlier? That's above the existing connection although I can't tell by how much, so yes, it'll be at a greater angle.

What I thought might have been the mock-up panel on a frame from a distance, turned out to be a a large asahi sign on a frame. Oh well. I will keep looking, it must crop up somewhere eventually

Actually it's quite refreshing for a guy who runs a football club to admit that fans leaving early because traffic and public transport is rubbish.
It would be good if City admitted the truth that transport to and from the Ethihad is a pile of pooh. It can only improve if you admit there's a problem.
