North Stand Construction Discussion

Can't see any activity on the big lift , a few movements on diggers etc but that's all

In SS Skies video you can clearly see the 5tonne round slings in the position to be hooked on the crane 12:47

Article in the New Civil Engineer about steelwork bolting new to existing. The video (previously posted) at the end surely indicates how far those at the top seats will be from the pitch. Will need Opera glasses to see the action!

Covered before but it’s not majorly different in terms of distance as the back of the south stand.

Thanks for sharing CP, always good to see what is going on! Construction plans are always dependent on other issues, I am sure the lift will happen whenever everything is right. Unlike my own DIY efforts, measure twice, cut once.

It'll be OK when it's all pushed closer with hydraulic rams.

Anything is possible, I've just seen Andy Capp 'aka' Ian Grieve win his round of Mastermind, a very clever chap.

You got so unlucky @cpoverview, it never looked definitive whether they were going to do it or not! So many "false alarms" in your video, I really feel for you! I did buy you a coffee though, thanks for the shoutout!
