For some reason the last picture of the slanting cap reminded me of Zippy from Rainbow. Obviously their heads are shaped differently.

Why does the cap look wanky ?

That big bugger is going take some filling on a regular basis if performances like today's continue and if the club don't get the pricing right.

Hundreds of empty seats for a 3 pm kick off, on a nice afternoon, against attractive opponents who sold their full allocation....in a 52000 seater stadium.

Thousands of empty seats in a 62000 seater stadium unless something fundamental changes/improves.

Potentially a shocking and embarrassing state of affairs for the club,players and particularly Sheikh Mansour !!

Absolutely spot on. I can not buy my wife the odd match ticket because she is not a member, yet there are loads of Asians at all our matches, figure that.

They will have to put cardboard cut outs around the stadium when that new stand opens to give the impression the ground is full.

No. It's just a temporary platform under the corner of the hotel extending outwards, but still on site, towards the Metrolink stop and Coop Live. I think it's just for the workmen to use to get to the lower sections of the hotel?
