North Stand Construction Discussion

Wow!

Amazing stand and concourses.

Unfortunately loads of snagging issues. Understandable?

Loads of pictures.

I'll upload the rest of the normal sized pictures tomorrow.

Just teething problems, they'll iron all that out for the start of the season

Fair enough.

There is a hell of a lot to iron out.

Not being negative as the stand is superb, just being honest.

South stands snagging issues still haven't been ironed out to date.

I know as I have access to the back of the stand, toilets, etc, during the season.

Spurs new stadium, including the away end, when we played them in the CL, was immaculate and superb.

I sincerely hope City and Sisk sort out the rushed finish and snagging issues I noticed at the test event. Pictures to follow.

On a positive mote. Snagging issues aside. The stand and concourses are immense. The views of the pitch and the Etihad stadium from NSL2 are unreal! Miles better than SSL3.

What would you say makes the view better in NSL2 than SSL3 JRB?

Thanks mate, look forward to seeing the pictures
Thanks.

It really is a great view of the pitch and the stadium.

Standing in the safe standing section you are somewhat detached from the game.

But for £425, it might be worth it?

I stand on SSL1, so I have a totally different view of the game.

I went to the test event this evening to check out my new seat. I've relocated from Block 015 in the South Stand to Block 237 in the North Stand. Block 115 was special as it never had any queues (M2). today it was like this when I arrived to enter A2...IMG_5473.JPEG

I currently stand in SSL3 so I know how it feels being away from the pitch (always used to stand in SSL1 before I got a season ticket). Always preferred being lower down but do like the view in SSL3 and the atmosphere has always been good but I live in the midlands so being closer to the tram appeals to me because I often have to sprint round to make sure I can catch my train home. Plus being nearer the Medlock square too! Plus I wouldn’t mind taking my son soon (currently 3 years old) but not sure sitting 5 seats from the away end is a good place for him

The sky bar is much higher above the rest of the expansion than I expected. I guess that’s why they call it a sky bar! Ha.

If you’re looking to sit at the back then you don’t feel like you’re under an overhang at all. It’s too far up to be noticeable.

and the new studio for the matchday crew (natalie pike etc) will be up there.

Really enjoyed the test event, I have a vlog uploading which will go out in the morning. Nice to meet some followers of the channel today. Appreciated the support. The stand is awesome. It was my first time trying to do a full vlog so apologies if the camera points in the wrong direction or the sounds goes a bit. Thanks again to the guy who will remain nameless for giving us a ticket to the event, you know who you are. The fans are going to love it next season

Finally! Feels like this days taken ages to get here... There's still lots of work to be done for birth the villa match and then next season.

The queues today were expected and part of snagging but won't be like that for Sunday, it's gonna be a sight to behold on Sunday

anyone know the best way to relocate to the north stand? we didn't express interest when the email first came out, but after this evening, we really feel like moving from CB level 3.
You might be able to move over in the general relocation window in June, but probably worth ringing them up and checking.
