North Stand Expansion

Im in 132 so just a few yards from this work.
It'll be interesting to see what it looks like when I'm next there for the Newcastle game.
There will be a few changes around the north stand before the first game, the hoarding are going up now and new routes, including newly built walkways to the side of the metrolink entrance towards Piccadilly which could cause pinch points at busy times.
Hopefully all the concourse is reopened internally.

Being fobbed off/blanked at the minute. Still working on getting the meeting. Hopefully, before the season starts!
Maybe they don't want to meet and are doing the usual thing of saying one thing whilst doing the opposite, maybe cut out the middle man and go straight to the chairman via the guy who interviews him. I don't think the club where happy at all with that podcast that went out saying about the issues with tickets etc and the seating. @Manchester33

They advise new city square will hold at least 3000 people , the drawing shows bars that are double sided marked 2 on the drawings, there is no way that these two bars could handle that amount of people.

Solution for more bar space that will serve both city hall and city square and the lowerstand is to replace the GA+ section or Joe's (marked purple in the drawing) with a double sided goal line bar.

In this drawing there are to catering sections at either end of purple section they would be replaced with stairs that lead into City Hall, the back wall of Joe's(GA+-Purple section) would be removed so giving fans a view over city hall and city square. This would help the area and stop built of queues at bars and would help the atmosphere more fans not at the queing being in there seats during the game

This would help city when also running function in city hall as more bar space.

This is Spurs Staduim South Stand ,the goaline bar is level 1 there in city new North Stand to move it to level 2 but have these type stairs leading from City Hall to the new double sided goaline bar

They are not the only bar areas - There will be kiosks along the sides of City sq.

@bluesmith this is all I could find on the planning document, does not say how many covers etc or seats etc

The post above was do with replacing the Joe's section that the club are trying to fit into the new north stand, I was suggesting alternative idea to having a joe's
