Nottingham Forest (A) | Post Match Thread

And what about the rest of 88 minutes? Attacking Bernardo? Could you please tell us any other chance they had on Bernardo side? They literally didn't have anythibg else. Not any dangerous cross, they never beat Bernardo other than the goal. If we have 8 pebalties 5 1v1, and we draw 1-1 where the opposition only created one chance, you would be saying the same.

Your definition of outcoaches: we drew. That's it
The rest of the 88mins they were crap. Cooper knew it so he made changes and they scored, is that not good?

If it makes you feel better, Forest didn't create 10 chances, doesn't mean they didn't attack Bernardo. They didn't need 10 either, just 1.

Is 1-0 not good enough?

Shore up the team and get out of there and keep ourselves top of the league. Instead he sat on his hands and let them change and overload us and they scored.
Yes. You have to be able to defend at this level- they made subs in classic textbook fashion while not even expecting to get a chance but hoping for one. Pep is not great at reacting. He is far too single minded. Many of us were calling for a back four for this game. It is what won it at Arsenal. But does he see the benefits of a back 4 ? No. He has got it into his head that it doesn't quite work the way it does with a back 3. Unbelievable.
And he will possibly play the same in midweek. So get ready for it.

With the home crowd with a Champions League winner as a goalkeeper, Forest was tricky. Especially if we did put the effort in (which we did for most parts)
God help us to win anything else ever again if newly promoted Forrest is a tricky fixture. It’s city we’re talking about here mate… Forrest away is one of the easiest games we’ll play all season

Once again I think many are focusing on the wrong area of the pitch. We scored, all we needed to do was not concede. Our game management is really poor, remember Real Madrid away last year? Our defending is just not good enough and needs a good looking at.

How on Gods green earth is that goal Edersons fault?
People are just ridiculous, like I get Ederson has been poor but today was not his fault.

Haaland, Rodri, Laporte, Kdb and Foden all get blamed before Ederson.

I just don’t think negativity solves anything, we need to move on

Everybody please take a chill pill ? The blame game on here is crazy, it's not the end of the world is it,

yes, we dropped points, yes we were sloppy, yes poor finishing, but we are Manchester city and we all have seen darker days than today, we will be back midweek ready for the Champions League, That's how far we have come, that we are now judged on winning the Champions League not the Premier League,

de bruyne is a huge question. He has those moments and creates an assist out of nothing but his 90mins play is a hinderance. Hes so poor.

id be tempted to drop him for bernaedo and put ake left back. Play 433 with him and gundo in the 8.
