Oasis reunion

Well it would have been nice for our kids to have seen them live, but that looks unlikely now.
Fell sorry for those fans priced out. Proper shit trick that putting in the dynamic pricing as they know a lot of people would have just gone and bought them at any price after queuing for hours on hours. These ticket agencies and bands should not be able to get away with it.

Earlier this week, standing price tickets for Cardiff, London and Edinburgh were advertised as £135 plus fees. But angry fans online said they noted "in demand" pricing on Ticketmaster had increased prices to £355 plus fees.

Ticketmaster say they do not set ticket prices.

A link on the ticketing website stated, external: "Promoters and artists set ticket prices. Prices can be either fixed or market-based. Market-based tickets are labelled as 'Platinum' or 'In Demand'."

Ticketmaster confirmed that fans did not get anything else for the price increase.

Oasis and the band's promoter were not commenting on the issue on Saturday evening.

Dynamic pricing is not new and is allowed under consumer protection laws.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) told the BBC it could not pass comment on Ticketmaster's pricing in this instance.

PA Media has more on the fans reporting on their experience of tickets more than doubling from around £148 to around £355 on Ticketmaster after they waited for hours to secure their place at the Oasis Live 25 shows.

An explanation by the website about the “on-demand standing ticket” price says: “The event organiser has priced these tickets according to their market value. Tickets do not include VIP packages. Availability and pricing are subject to change.”

When asked about this issue by the PA, Ticketmaster said it does not set prices, and shared a link to its website where it says costs can be “fixed or market-based”.

Is that not first hand touting, skipping the intermediates?

I truly believe the people of the UK have gone Mad, So many people are struggling just to get by
Foodbanks, Homeless, NHS on its arse, and then you have people Paying Crazy Money for Oasis tickets.
Look, please come back down to earth, it's a fucking concert by a band that is over the hill and it's not 1990s

Oasis Noel and Liam should be ashamed knowing where they have come from and should know better. They are selling out to the business and milking the public and their fans.

The true face of the UK shown its ugly head yesterday

Two blokes who have no shame aren't ever likely to be ashamed.

Yeah, course it is. Football clubs do the same. It’s a fucking disgrace but nothing will get done about it. So many big organisations are allowed to get away with similar things. You hear them bang on about problem gambling all the time too but in reality the government allow the bookies to decide who can bet and who can’t. Guess who they target with their eligibility tests and loopholes to close accounts!

Spot on…….social media, tick tock shite, twatter culture

People queueing online for 8hs for an already over priced ticket and then paying double that when finally at the booking page is why we have safetly labels on turps saying don't drink and railings along canals to stop people faling in.

Generally unless warned or stopped people do stupid things

I do think paying £350 plus for a standing ticket for Heaton Park is madness to be honest but I suppose once you get to the end of the queue after an 8 hr wait you are faced with a split second decision.
