The last time Oasis played Heaton Park I went with my youngest daughter, got the bus and the touts were scrambling over each other to be at the front of the doors as we all exited. Bought 2 x £40 tickets for £15 each.

How does touting work these days of ticketless gigs? I thought you couldn’t re-sell these tickets?

You need to have a Ticketmaster account, you basically give them your email address (that is linked to your Ticketmaster account) and they transfer the ticket from their account to yours. its probably 'safer' than buying paper tickets of them TBH

Yeah I just thought they had come up with a way of preventing that and stopping the resale of these tickets.

My daughter and her friend recently applied for a temporary job involving festivals. Was invited to work on the Sunday.

Ended up working 3 or so hours late afternoon and then was able to watch the concert.

My pal has been a part time tout for donkeys years. I struggled for a ticket to heaton park so naturally asked him. He said spare ticketa for these gigs are pretty much non existent. Anyone with a ticket is keeping hold of it and going.

I got a last minute ticket and its up there with the best ive ever been to
