Official "Changes To Seasoncards" Thread

The club have been extremely smart with this. Working class fans are the losers yes. But they have been the losers for over 20 years.

The issue appears not to be the price per se, but the 'enticing people into the platinum category'. They have pitched it perfectly. An extra £55. That will sell people into that category based on the seductive lure of double loyalty points.

Very smark Mr Cook. But you are still a twat.

If I was a tight bastard,(and I am) and just bought the Gold Membership,I would actually pay 17 quid less for my seat next season than I paid this season !!! (445,this season was 462)

Now thats not being ripped off, unless I am reading it wrong.....whose the expert and can explain ???

Looks like platinum for me, brilliant deal.

Brilliant deal albeit morally wrong.

£15 for cup games up until the QF's if you join the scheme, 600 loyalty points for joining the 3 schemes & 380 points for renewing.

980 loyalty points for £50 basically.
You don't get it do you!! What the platinum is basically is a form of blackmail. It's a very clever way of disguising the fact that my card has gone up by virtually £100. I'm on 6k points but if i decide to get the gold and somebody with 5k points gets the platinum then they will probably overhaul me in one season!! the whole thing fucking stinks but as per usual in this country we will take it lying down and then we will be moaning like fuck in a few years when we are surrounded by foreigners if we are lucky enough to be able to go, or more likely sat in a pub watching it on a foreign tv channel

we've had it good for ages with prices and even with the rises, still have

look around, stafford bloody rangers near me is more that i paid last year, the likes of arsenal are at least double even on last years rates

we need to wake up and smell the coffee i reckon........

this will bring out the prawn sarnie brigade but then again, so will success

i'm going platinum

what will the criteria be for the black card?

Clever clever city....get the fans to pay extra for a 'notional' reward of additional points. Great way of increasing the revenue without providing any tangible benefit and more importantly, requiring no capital investment.

I honestly believe next season is a stop gap, wait until we have a hotel, casino, and flight + ticket deals where you can 'buy' weekend stopovers ....and of course get 'loyalty' points for it.

Overall quite happy with the ~10% increase, very good deal for value gold too.
