Highlight of his short career so far, scoring an injury time winner for his country.
That alongside becoming the youngest ever goalscorer for Ukraine-two and a half years go- v Romania....aged 19,beating the record held by Schevchenko....great goal as well, capitalizing on a mistake by a Romanian defender ,Zinchenko runs from his own half ,steals the ball and gallops 40 yards before slotting the ball home..clearly a very popular player for his country...i think we will hear a lot more about the lad in the future ,whoever he plays for.I was amazed how comfortable he looked on the ball during the euros back in 2016,playing as an attack minded central midfielder....has the poise compusure and control to carve out a great career for himself

Given that he's not featured at all, I thought he played very well at Oxford, though he admittedly never had much to do defensively. He really can ping a ball and has an innate understanding of the system and where to pass the ball.

That's why I'm so high on him. But watch out @Easy is somewhere getting all moody coz he is still at the club. He has been predicting his exit for 3 windows now.:)

In a game that sometimes felt like a training exercise, Zinchenko looked like a guy who'd been practicing cross field diagonal passes and was going to do one whenever he got the chance.

If he bulked up a little, I think he could be a great DM. Great passing, intelligent, pretty good on the ball and also put in some nice tackles tonight

Like I correctly predicted in August, tonight he would receive his FIRST appearance of the season.FYI I predicted the 18 as well tonight and first scorer but was one off on the score line (4-0).

I said if he’s smart he would leave as he’s not likely to play much, even less than last season and so far that’s been the case.

I thought he would leave as any smart young man would when they realize they are 3rd choice leftback and will spend most of their time not even on the bench but in the stands.

Could of been at Wolves now and maybe even broken into the first 11 by now but I guess it’s nicer sitting in the stands for City and being comfortable, to each his own.

I'm not sure he needs to bulk up. I think he could ply there as is. At least in a Jorginho type role. I'd love to see it done.

Really was very good tonight , left back not his natural position but he is making a fist of it , watching Stones in defensive midfield was interesting and not conclusive the jury is definitely out , but as others have mentioned Zinchenko is worth a try in Dinho's position , he's more mobile and doesnt shirk a tackle.

I would much rather him as DM instead of Stonesy. I was really impressed with his all round game tonight.

Unlike @Easy I'm glad he stayed, I think he will eventually force his way into our team, he has a special talent, and he's learning from the very best (players and coaches), I'm glad he's patient it will do his career more good than leaving City. If he got the chance of a loan in January for more games, he should take it, but leave he should not.

You do the kid,and his talent, huge injustice. He's not simply a '3rd choice left back' as his ability lends itself to playing him in several positions when required. He's a brilliant utility type with a seemingly great attitude, the perfect squad player, who will only improve.
