Hope not, Laporte is our best CB and our only left footed CB so we need him there for the balance it provides. Also his passing in the build-up is essential.

Of course he is. There’s no other right back in the premier league I’d swap him for. Brilliant player with bags of pace who had a dodgy spell earlier this season.

We do have a big problem at left back now.

He's had quite a few brain farts this season but when he has his shit together, he really is a good defender.

I'm expecting he'll be very good next season after slightly more of a rest.

Re Zinchenko, I was just watching him first half & thought he was actually looking like a fullback rather than a midfielder playing fullback, then he got fucking injured.

Not surprising seeing as he's doing the job of two players who don't add up to one player in fitness.
