Our glaring weakness at LB, will it be fixed?

I just don't understand why we haven't solved the LB problem, it has been a weakness for so long now. Should have been one of the areas we targeted this summer, especially if we don't get Pogba because we will have 2 non-HG spots to fill. De Bruyne fills 1 and the other can be used to buy a LB. Should never have gave Aleks that new contract, we'll never get rid. Sandro and Rodriguez were right there and we just let the opportunity pass us by. Sick of the Clichy/Kolarov duo at left-back, it went stale a long time ago. Maybe we are waiting for Pep to come in before any drastic reshaping of our squad can take place. The only scenario I can think of where this makes sense is if we keep Kolarov for 1 more year and then replace him with Angelino.
 
We also have a LB problem.

It's such a weird position... and difficult to find any great players.
Who would you say is the best LB in the world right now? I can't think of anyone.

You never know how the window will unfold and what may change at the drop of a hat, the last week or so could see a deal elsewhere that opens up the door like a domino effect and we may end up replacing both fullbacks yet! ;)

we may then see a rb at no2, lb at no3 and give kelechi 9 and Lopes 17.
 
LB is a nightmare position to find real quality for anyone, Alba, Alaba, Marcelo, Azpilicueta, Rodriguez (Wolfsburg). Gibbs at Arsenal. cant think of many more, think our LB would be an upcoming player, certainly cant see any of those mentioned leaving their respective clubs.
Maybe Pep could bring Bernat with him.

Id rather we strengthen our defence than be looking at the likes of Pogba and DeBruyne
 
we might want a lb but the manager wants a wing back and unfortunatly thats what we have two left backs that cannot tackle

There are lots of good LBs. We just haven't focused on the area. Digne, Ghoulam, Orban,Gaya Benat, Avelar. Just to name a few up and coming. Who are as talented as the more popular guys. No one rated Aspiculetta when he joined Chelsea. We simply have to just get one of the well rounded LBs and turn him into our star over the next 2 years. Personally, I'd go with Gaya or Avelar.

Baba is there to backup Azpiilicueta, who might be the best one v one defender in the prem. Why would Chelsea consider selling him.

I find this hard to believe witnessing Navas beat him with ease him at Stamford Bridge last season.
