Absolute no way near being a £100m player......Juve can keep him

This.

I have no doubt he'll be world class, but he's not at present worth £100million. The only French player possibly worth close to that is Griezmann.

Either which way, he never fit Pep's plans and you have to wonder why Real Madrid, locked out of signings for three years, backed away too.

Let the silly rag idiots buy him for £100m plus whatever wages and an agent fee.....i am sure we all agree that getting 2 or 3 class players instead will greater benefit our team

Pogba £100m = totally laughable

He's definitely going to Utd now. He and his agent will be scared shitless that he may not be as good as this deal implies so better to get this mega deal I case it's the last opportunity. IMO.

Dodged a bullet here with what is realistically a £40m player at most. Very one dimensional, cannot mix defending and attacking together. Sissokho contributed more. Was also very whingey on the pitch, doesnt help when your team is 1-0 down and the first thing you do is yell at your teammate in the face.

I'd argue it wasn't a bullet dodged rather Pep knowing he simply isn't as good as hyped, or a fit for our system.

This wasn't just one poor match from Pogba, it's been an entire tournament in which he simply hasn't turned up. I can understand why United fans are panicking - they are tying their hands on other potential transfers and throwing their whole financial structure down the toilet for a kid who simply isn't yet an elite.

Let's be real. He's a good player, but Dechumps was playing him in a 2 man midfield and basically playing as a holding midfielder. He wasn't exactly playing him to his strengths. Pogba is always better going forward when he has cover behind him. I said it before it will be interesting where Maureen decides to play him.

Matuidi was definitely a bit more defensive than Pogba I felt. Add to that Sissoko put in a defensive shift.

I dont buy this he was being used wrongly. Bad judgments in passes and play in DM is bad judgment in passes and play anywhere. I dont think anyone cared about his contributions defensive wise. Its the fundamentals that were suspect in several of his games. Again, it's not that he isn't a talented player, but at £105m we would expect a CM who has more in his game than being one dimensional.

He'll probably play him in the center of his back ten.

Watched him in every France game, he has not once been a dominant force or even the best French player on the field. He may have potential but at £100 million that would be a very big risk.

From what I saw I thought Sissoko was making a lot more runs forward. Didn't see Pogba get into positions like he did with Juve.
Oh Sissoko definitely was played more forward, but I do feel with Matuidi alongside him Pogba had a bit of a free role as well. He works in a 4-3-3 or a 3-5-2 but not in a 4-2-3-1 which is the preferred formation in the BPL. Pogbas issue is he is good at a lot of things so its really tough to define a role for him. I do think Mourinho would have some trouble fitting him in considering he is so bent upon have single minded players (like Mikel).
