Things I like about City:
Players are modest on and off the pitch...
Players are all likeable (apart from Mendy)
No stupid goal celebrations (Jesus?)
All players work hard (apart from Jack at times)
No stupid hair cuts (Phil heading that way)
No social media idiots
What goes on behind closed doors, stays behind closed doors...

Oh, and they are all great players on a regular basis.

So WTF would we go for a posing, dabbing, Instagram attention seeking, lazy, coiffed, blabber mouthed, needy player who can't even get a starting place at a mid table club!!!!!
All good points, however I have a hard time seeing Pep put up w any of that bs.

What's this lifestyle stuff all about? I just thought he has a pretty garish sense of style and talks a lot, not seen anything about any off pitch shenanigans.
Similarities to a certain Italian player who recently played for us. Capable of on-field genius but off-field idiocy.
Still, we all loved our Mario.

Mate what you're not fully considering is the toxic environment he's in. He made it clear last summer that he was leaving on a free this summer.

There's a difference between being lazy & unmotivated. Yes, he's had injuries, but hasn't KDB, didn't Aguero? What about Laporte? We bought Gundog injured & like the $6m Man, we had the technology to rebuild him.

Think about it. All you've accused Pogba of being wasn't ever the case at Juvé & isn't the case with France. Think why? He can't single handedly repair all that seems wrong at ManUre, & as for being lazy? Would you rather a true footballing talent who uses his head & the ball, or a headless chicken who can run a marathon every match?

It's Pep we're talking about here, so there's your answer. We don't even coach players to slide tackle, let alone rely on players who specialise in running about all game, but offer little else in the way of big game quality.

We need players who can competently put their foot on the ball & carry out Pep's instructions with skill & dexterity. That's Pep's philosophy. Keep the ball & use it wisely & intelligently & we then negate the need for a Gerry Gow.
He played a huge part in creating that toxic environment. Dressing room poison

Keep seeing people say he’s using City to get big wages from United…It was reported in January and April that United offered him a contract on huge wages (400-500k). He has no interest in continuing at United. I think he’s more ambitious than PSG but France is home. I’d be shocked if he went back to Juve. Probably wants to prove he can win at the club level somewhere else. Madrid haven’t made any noise about him which is weird if they want him considering they’ve wrapped up Rudiger on free already. His family is settled in Manchester and reportedly don’t want to leave. City might be his best option (if we make a formal offer) all things considered. The summer is long though. With so many players across Europe out of contract this summer and next summer I’m expecting lots of twists and turns.
