This sums it up for me too. The team selection yesterday was shocking. He rarely has a Plan A, so no chance of a Plan B. Having heard Stuart Pearce's comments pre-match, he could see it quite clearly too. Funnily enough his reign as manager was the last time my expereince of watching City was as joyless, yet even he would seem to be an improvement at present. The bewilderment on the players faces says it all. You can see it on Kiddo's face too. I would be happy for an interim replacement with the same squad, I don't see the point of buying anybody else at this stage. Even if we bought Messi this week, he would struggle in this team. We desperately are missing leadership on and off the pitch. Thats why Kompany is so important to us, it's not just the CB role. I would have Zabba playing as much as possible too. Time for some big decisions with this team, but I think Pellegrini hasn't the bottle to make them. He's lost it. It's been coming for a long time, and could be seen last season too.
