The injuries aren't even an excuse anymore. Let's face it, he's always played about with the team; the only constant he is missing is Rodders. He should be getting more out of this squad.
He wanted players like Bruno but the club did not want to spend. Players like Nunes, Phillips should not even be on our radar & to let Alvarez go with no striker coming in is shocking. Can never understand why he wants a small squad but mains every press conference about how many games the players have to playHe wanted players like Bruno but the club did not want to spend. Ok, well Pep is part of the problem to.
In this football era elite players are hard to come by, there is no KDB, Modric, Iniesta, Gerrard, Puyol Regen. The top level of player is your Bruno Guimares, Macallister, Raphinha, Odegaards.
This whole policy of small squad of elite players is not going to work in this era, we need a big squad of players that a good/top level.
I'm not convinced we're ready to spend, probably because of all the 'charges' City are dealing with.
