What i find kind of weird is that the extension had no effect at all. I thought it would breathe life into the squad.

Now it might just be that he's had enough but rather like someone trapped in a bad marriage is sticking it out for the sake of the kids. Ok, well Pep is part of the problem to.

In this football era elite players are hard to come by, there is no KDB, Modric, Iniesta, Gerrard, Puyol Regen. The top level of player is your Bruno Guimares, Macallister, Raphinha, Odegaards.

This whole policy of small squad of elite players is not going to work in this era, we need a big squad of players that a good/top level.

I'm not convinced we're ready to spend, probably because of all the 'charges' City are dealing with.

I think he’ll go a lot sooner than that wouldn’t be surprised if he walks by the turn of the year
