It's not as old as you make out. Kev, Gundogan & Walker and that's about it.

Gvardiol, Foden, Haaland, Bobb, Doku, Savinho, Rico all very young. Loads of promising youth coming through, plenty of cash and we're the best run football club in the world. We're a couple of players away from having a squad for another 5 years plus.
There’s young players no doubt. Kovacic and Bernardo also as the ones you mentioned who are going to take some serious replacing. Also a lot of players entering 30 some of which are very injury prone. But like I said the man tasked to do it is a man unknown to us.

I'd be happy if it did and I'd take it on the chin, as he's reinvented the team multiple times. But everyone agrees that we need fresh blood on the field. He's not going to reinvent us in one final season, even if he stays.
I'm confident he'll sort it and I'm also confident he'll be around a while longer yet.

30 isn't old mate, still 3/4 seasons in them yet. We've been here before and we did ok, not worried one bit.

You said we were going to be in the same boat the piss can left utd in.
You’re a dick. I shall fuck off though. Cheers.
Adding your own words and replying to them..bizarre. I said if he goes this season he would have done the same, leaving us with an aged squad, how is that not a fact?

Trust in Pep because it gets even tougher in the next 4 weeks even with the International Break. If we are still in the top 2 after Liverpool at Anfield in December 1 he will have worked an astonishing achievement and more importantly it will drive our season forward. He always has found a way. Although this is the hardest test he has ever had in his life.

Agree with this and it's frustrating that we've let it get to this point.

A signing of a quality, young and dynamic midfielder the year Gundogan left would've left us very well placed for another 5 years of success.

As it is now, we need to make signings from a position of weakness and they need to hit the ground running.
